Sorry Cara D, but there will always be one true darling of the British fashion world, and that woman will be appearing on newsstands everywhere on the cover of British Vogue's May Issue - her 35th, to be exact. And that's just for British Vogue. Worldwide, Kate Moss has had more Vogue covers than any other model. As The Guardian so aptly described it, this may be the Kate Mossiest Vogue cover of them all; "It stars Kate Moss, was styled by Kate Moss, who is now a contributing fashion editor at Vogue, and Kate Moss is wearing an outfit designed by Kate Moss." Freja Behan Erichsen also stars in the issue, having been styled by (you guessed it) Kate Moss!
Not many models make it past the age of 30 in the biz, so this cover is just testament to that irresistible Mossy quality that always keeps us wanting more. In celebration of her amazing career with Vogue International, I've compiled a list of my ten favourite Kate Moss Vogue covers (plus a couple of extras!).

These last two haven't made it into my top ten but they get special commendation. The first is of Kate's first ever Vogue cover that infamously launched her into the public eye. The second is the first ever Vogue magazine I bought. I was only fourteen at the time but I purchased it specially because it coincided with Easter (for reasons unbeknownst to myself now!) and it is one of the single largest reasons I am doing what I am right now - writing. Vogue made me realise what I really wanted to become and what I COULD become. I owe any amount of success I hope to achieve to Vogue, Alexandra Shulman and, in a way, Kate Moss. Roll on cover 36.
