A cursory glance over Autumn Winter 14 will clearly show one stand out piece - the cape coat. Burberry's was the most popular, featuring all the models walking the finale draped in their monogrammed capes. A couple of months ago I found a great version on Sheinside, and for only £28 it was a no-brainer!
I'm kind of channelling Olivia Palermo in her plaid shirt, thigh-high boots and Burberry cape. Its just starting to get cold here in the South, so I can only hope that when I get back to London I'm not snowed out of my flat. This is surprisingly convenient and warm; the cape is heavy enough to stay on in the wind, soft enough to be comfortable and thick enough to keep me warm. I tend to layer it over my camel coat (and pretty much every other outfit at the moment) so expect to see it a lot more over the coming months!
