H&M is really going from strength to strength at the moment. We're just around the corner from its much talked about collaboration with Isabel Marant (slightly excited about that as she's doing menswear for the FIRST TIME) which is just the latest in a string of high-end collabs including Versace, Jimmy Choo, Roberto Cavalli, Maison Martin Margiela... and who could forget the avante-garde-fabulous collection by Anna Dello Russo that gave us Fashion Shower?
Hot on the heels of Beyonce's summer campaign for H&M, Gisele is bringing us an entirely new concept for AW13. Unlike most model-features which offer only photographic campaigns, maybe with a video, H&M's collab with Gisele has her singing for the very first time! Not only this, the single of choice (a cover of The Kinks 'All Day and All of The Night') is presented to the public in a beautiful music video featuring Gisele and the AW13 collection. The whole thing is very 60's Chelsea with Parisian influence. I love the campaign, it's really beautiful and frankly I can't overstate how pleased I am that summer is over. What really shines through about this is that actually, the song's pretty good! Gisele's breathy, accented voice really goes with the song and the whole indie Brit concept - it's going on my iPod for sure.
Take a look at the campaign pics.
Check out the music video below,
