L'ART OF THE TRENCH

On Saturday morning I went along to Winchester Uni open day to look at their campus and see their Fashion courses. The programme leader for Fashion: Media and Marketing was brilliant, she was clearly very passionate about her job and she really knew her stuff. One thing she showed us was Burberry's transformation a la Christopher Bailey - 'taking it back from the chavs'! We saw this amazing video of the Taipei Burberry World Event. It was utterly beautiful and got me thinking about my own trench coat, a slightly battered, slightly too large River Island version. Since it's part of the L'Art collection I thought it fitted the title! I love pairing it with the cowl neck jumper and the ripped jeans give it a more casual Marant-y vibe.
