The other day I posted about Vogue's September 2014 cover leaking on Instagram. We only had an angled shot, but now the full cover has been released. Shot by Mario Testino, the issue features Joan Smalls, Cara Delevingne and Karlie Kloss; the #Instagirls.
But as it turns out these aren't all of the #Instagirls! Although Joan, Cara and Karlie were chosen for the cover, the full image also includes Arizona Muse, Edie Campbell, Imaan Hammam, Fei Fei Sun, Vanessa Axente, and Andreea Diaconu. Styled by Tonne Goodman, this photo is basically a collective of the most social media-savvy models of the moment. In the words of Vogue.com, "they're building their own brands and single-handedly catapulting themselves to this generation's version of supermodel status."
What do you think? As interesting as I find celebrity features, I love that Vogue is returning to putting models on the cover, and the rest of the world seem's to agree.
