Every year, following on from the giant September Issue, the October issue's of fashion magazines are noticeably slim-line. Even so, they are one of my favourites of the year. Less frantic and overwhelming you might say! This year's October cover star is Rosamund Pike, making her British Vogue debut.
I really like this cover, photographer by Alasdair McLellan. The headlines sound engaging, relevant and fresh; Fashion Flash and Autumn Style Briefing may be a bit vague but they are standard issue autumn coverlines, and I can't wait to get into the Nicholas Ghesquiรจre profile. Other than that the colours are vibrant and eye-catching, the styling is up-to-date and overall we seem to have lost the whole dated British rose thing, of which I can only say, about time!
