You know that time, usually around September, when schools go back, the weather starts to cool down and the first sings of autumn start to creep in? Well, The X Factor started this weekend, signalling to the British public that the summer had officially reached its end.
To be perfectly honest (this being England and all) the sun hasn't made much of an appearance for a while, not since the crazy heatwave. The problem with this wishy-washy weather is that dressing is so much harder; whilst you'll be cold in your summer clothes, you'd easily overheat in thick winter gear. So here's the perfect solution! I'm always one for wearing jumpers without a t-shirt underneath, not only does it give a cleaner look, it makes things so much cooler. Hang onto the last shreds of summer with the mint chino's, breton stripes and boat shoes, because let's be honest - we're not really ready to let go of the sun just yet.
